The story we tell

The way we do things: our values

It’s really easy to read a set of values. It’s far harder – but so much more rewarding – if they are lived out.

As you read these values, we want you to imagine the Generosity Path that everyone we come into contact with would experience, if we truly lived them out.

Crucially, we have chosen to place our faith at the heart of our identity.

Whilst it might be perceived to be a ‘given’, the primary behaviour we want to demonstrate at every level is trust in God. Everything we do finds its foundation here.

God first

We are not just another organisation setting itself a significant target.

It is God’s plan that people be given the opportunity to fully surrender their hearts to Jesus, not ours. This means we must depend fully on the leading of the Holy Spirit to follow the path that God would have us take. This must be evident in our strategic and everyday decision making; our response when we celebrate a success, or a problem needs to be addressed; and in our relationships with one another.

In short, our thoughts, words and actions in Generosity Path must always place God first.

Generosity

We’re givers, not takers – we lead the way with lavish generosity.

This looks like:

  • a customer experience that feels like a high quality gift
  • never asking for money
  • modelling generosity across the team, towards participants and to other organisations, through our time, experience and learnings
Team

We believe team health, collaboration and diversity is non-negotiable.

This looks like:

  • valuing the experience, opinions and cultural insights of the whole GP team
  • an ability to hold each other to account and disagree well, because we know we are ‘for one another’
  • encouragement and support of work-life balance
Humility

It’s not about us. In everything we do, we seek to support and empower people to find their own path.

This looks like:

  • creating an environment which removes stigma, cultural expectations and taboos around money
  • showing empathy, listening well and empowering others to find the answers
  • not being afraid to fail
Excellence

We seek to deliver the highest quality because God deserves our best.

This looks like:

  • not settling for good enough
  • consistent, high-quality delivery of our core experiences
  • a desire for continuous improvement
